Hello

Hi, my name is Stewart Botting and together with Alex Thistlethwayte, who is the Chairman of the Trustees and responsible for all the funding, we run the Right Now Foundation, a charity for children.   

We have been established since November of 2007 in the Nellore District of Andhra Pradesh in India, where we work closely with C.P. Kumar of H.E.A.R.T.S. NGO. We have established eleven children’s homes and a nutrition project for ninety HIV positive children.

Last year we began working in Chennai with Solomon Raj who runs Shelter – an HIV home for children.  We established a slum night school and began talking with the Labour department to see what we could do to help in the area of child labour in the city and beyond.

There is information on this site of all the work we are doing and also of what we are planning.  There is lots going on as you will see. 

The important thing to note about us is we are small, hands on, grass roots and involved in each project from its inception to its day to day running. We know how important it is to ensure the money goes where we want it to and the truth is the only way to know that is to be here.

This makes us pretty unique in our field and we are proud of the what we have achieved in so short a time.
